Our last hour had arrived in Puerto Rico. We left Dorado and took coastal Highway 165 again for a pleasant stress free ride to San Juan. We only had about two hours before returning to our car at the airport and had decided some areas in San Juan, we had not anticipated visit. We drove through an area called "El Condado", a bustling waterfront community with many high hotel, a little 'reminds of Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beach. We then drove furtherIn another area east of San Juan, known as "Green Island", a suburb on the beach that many senior condominiums and several hotels. After his return the rental car we were ready in our luggage, as the U.S. Airways representative informed us that our flight from Philadelphia because of winter storms that had overlapping in the northeastern United States and Canada has been canceled. Fortunately, he took a flight to Charlotte, North Carolina, providing us with our goal of Buffalo, after all, he would join. Usthe aircraft had to race as everyone was already boarding. Finally we arrived at about 22.30 clock in Buffalo, and not coincidentally were greeted by a prolonged snowfall. Our car was buried under several feet of snow, and finally to a gas station in Buffalo, we crossed the border into Ontario at midnight. After about 2 am in our driveway in Toronto, we could not even our cars have arrived in our driveway because the snow was so deep. So we had to spend an hour and a half shoveling...
