Spotlight on Antler Luggage

Spotlight on Antler Luggage

Luggage

Antler Luggage couldn't come from a better pedigree, being from the same carport as the legendary Brookes bicycle saddles. John Boutlebee Brookes designed a leather saddle for his bicycle after his horse died and since that day in 1887, the Brookes saddle has acquired worldwide acclaim and is still highly popular today. It was in the 1920's when Brookes' son entered the passenger luggage market and the Antler brand was born. In general manufacturing wardrobe trunks for ocean liners, the firm had a firm foothold in the growing trip market.

After a brief sidestep into manufacturing ruck sacks and webbing to help with the war effort, Antler turned their attentiveness back to passenger luggage and thanks to the air trip boom of the 1950's, well designed and hard wearing trip luggage was in high demand. This saw the introduction of their Airstream suitcase which combined both soft and hard fabrics to generate a light yet sturdy case which proved very popular on both sides of the Atlantic. This prompted the improvement of the Airstream range of suitcases which consisted of a matching vanity case and smaller, even lighter suitcase which was ideal for shorter trips.

Antler's current range of Airlight luggage is also aimed at the frequent traveller with a range of light and approved suitcases, trolley cases, laptop case and cabin cases. Most popular with the frequent flyer is the range of smaller cabin cases. These are roomy adequate to hold all you need for a few days away yet contract adequate to count as hand luggage. This makes it the greatest trip bag if you want to avoid the long wait for baggage after landing.

Antler Luggage continues to fabricate their range of trip bags and suitcases in order to furnish the ideal case for the varying needs of the median traveller (if there is such a thing). Many of Antler's range now consist of Tsa padlocks which can be opened by customs officials meaning they don't have to break the padlock in order to check the contents. There are over a hundred products in the current Antler range along with garment carriers & wardrobe cases, casual bags, rucksacks and lap top bags. Not forgetting their hugely popular Urbanite range of soft cases and the super approved Liquis range of hard suitcases. With so much selection and ninety years' of experience, Antler Luggage will no doubt have designed the perfect trip bag or suitcase to tick all your boxes.

Social Distortion - Cant Take It With You

Social Distortion - Cant Take It With You On YouTube.

Taken from the latest album Hard Times And Nursery Rhymes released on January 18, 2011 I'll tell you something, baby, that's a fact Never see a hearse with a luggage rack All your money, your hard earned pay It don't mean shit, babe, at the end of the day Can't take it with you, can't take it with you Can't take it with you, can't take it with you Oh no, you can't take it with you Can't take it with you Can't take it with you Can't take it with you when you go As sure as life, and the light of day I'll tell you something I've heard them say It don't matter, baby, what you're worth Seems we all, we all go back to Mother Earth Can't take it with you, can't take it with you Can't take it with you, can't take it with you Oh no, you can't take it with you Can't take it with you Can't take it with you Can't take it with you when you go Work all your life, you've become a slave There ain't no spending when you're in the grave Even if it's raining thousand dollar bills Think of me, baby, in your mansion on the hill Can't take it with you, can't take it with you Can't take it with you, can't take it with you Oh no, you can't take it with you Can't take it with you Can't take it with you Can't take it with you when you go Can't take it with you [repeat until end]

Picking Out the Best Carry on Luggage

Picking Out the Best Carry on Luggage

Luggage

If you have a trip planned in the future, and you just have older luggage, or your luggage is in need of a major upgrade, you may want to reconsider buying a whole new set out there. With to so many brands, and options, it's going to be hard to pick out something that you truly like. But, let me give you some tips on how you can grab yourself the best luggage on the store today.

Get something lightweight: The lighter your carryon luggage is, the great it's going to be for you. You don't want to have something too heavy, because you have to remember that you're going to be carrying this around the airport, and other places. The lighter it is, the great it's going to be for you.

Don't be too cheap: Since you're going to be using this set of luggage bags for a while, you'll want to make sure that you get something of quality. Like anything in life, if you go too cheap, you're going to find that you as a matter of fact get what you paid for.

I like name brands: I know there are a lot of great no name brands out there, but usually I'm a fan of the bigger names like Samsonite, and American Tourister. These are all great brands that you can use, and you know that they are going to last for a long time.

Try some of these tips, and more when it comes to your luggage. If you find something that you like, see if it fits the categories above. If it does, you should have a great bag for the times ahead.
