The idea behind having carry-on luggage is to have a piece of luggage that you can take with you on the flight so that you do not need to worry about having to pick it up after you have arrived. Don't be fooled by the size because the inside measurements are not what the airline permits you to have on board flight. It is very wise to check your seating arrangement and make sure that you are able to sit in a spot that you can comfortably put your luggage.
